Wow! What a fabulous day we've had!

Our Breakfast Assembly was a wonderful experience, We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! Thanks to all those who were able to come and help make it such a success! Keep your eye out for pictures of the event appearing on this page!

We also did our sponsored sing today in aid of The Children's Society. We managed to sing 6 songs, one was even in French! It would be great if you could send in any sponsor money as soon as possible - thanks in advance! Please try to join us for the Charities Day Assembly on Friday 21st October at 2:00pm.

Mr Hine and Linnets

Hello again!

Well we really have settled into Year 2 well and have just finished our topic of 'Underground' Many thanks to Seb's Grandad for the loan of the genuine 1950s Miner's helmet and carbide lamp!

We will be starting our new topic of 'Superheroes' on Monday, it's so exciting!

Please don't forget to send in your homework by Tuesday and please make sure it is done in pencil!

Mr Hine

Hello and welcome to Linnets!

We are a Year 2 class and are very excited about the new school year. We have loads of fun activities planned and we will tell you all about them as we do them, so watch this space.

We we are also getting to be really clever and have already started working hard in our Maths and English, as well as finding out all about our class bird, the linnet.

We have also made our own class rules which are;

We will be kind to everyone.

We will listen carefully.

We will look after our school.

We will try our best.

We will be happy.

We think they are good rules that cover everything!
