Dear Parents, Friends and Children
May I thank you for taking time to browse through our school information. The information we offer you covers many aspects of our school life, its organisation and the interesting ways in which we offer the Foundation and Key Stage 1.
Sudley Infant School provides a vibrant, supportive and creative learning environment that encourages challenge, curiosity and choice and allows us to be extremely proud of the learning programme we provide. Our outstanding teaching and learning standards create a special place that is exceptionally rich, relevant and fun.
The school’s personalised approach to learning embraces and responds to diversity in individual learning styles to achieve incredible learning outcomes. We also place great emphasis on building high quality personal and social skills, which have a positive impact on standards of achievement and attitude to learning. Ultimately, on both the part of the teacher and the child, we provide the sense of awe and wonder, the key to the inquiry which leads to critical thinking!
Leadership is important to us. We foster independence and self-motivation in parallel with co-operation and teamwork ensuring our children can make a full contribution to a global community. As part of our celebration of diversity we believe everyone has the ability to succeed - the ability to succeed not just academically but as an individual in their own unique way.
This is a family school involving children and families in change and development. Enthusiasm for learning is a key part of our approach, that’s why we encourage participation in learning both in and out of school. As we achieve more together your children will love to learn at Sudley Infants.
